My story

Long story short

Hi. I’m Chavah Brooke Hull. Thank you for stopping by and taking a minute to read my story.

First, let me start by saying I believe we all have a story to tell. Each day we add to that story. Our lives are books waiting to be written and our fertility, pregnancy, birth and postpartum stories are some of the most important sections – think of them as the climax. You begin discovering who you truly once you allow your body wisdom and intuition take center stage.

Our stories are written not just from our own experiences, but by those around us as well. One of my reasons for becoming a fertility coach, herbalist, birth doula, and childbirth educator is my passion for helping guide women to understand their own body, body knowledge, and intuition. I also prioritize working with women who have previous trauma, including sexual abuse and birth trauma, who want to overcome that experience and tap into their own innate healing and body wisdom.  Sometimes our stories can be hijacked by experiences beyond our control. With a little help and guidance, we can take back the narrative and reshape our memories so that we can fully move forward in the present, looking forward to the future, without allowing the past to steal what’s ahead.

Our past greatly impacts our present and future. This is especially true during our family planning journey, pregnancy, birth and postpartum. When we have traumatic events (including childhood sexual trauma, psychological or physical abuse, domestic violence history or previous traumatic birth experiences) in our past, we may find ourselves overwhelmed (i.e. triggered) during our most cherished moments. And this is not fair! But, I know with a little bit of work, including education, preparation and mindfulness, we can live fully in the present.

Having the opportunity to come alongside you on your journey is a huge privilege that I do not take lightly.

Now, for a little bit about me. My husband and I have 5 beautiful children of our own. All of our kids were born at home, and our youngest was so excited to meet us that she arrived faster than the midwife! I have been working in the birthing world since 2012, and my passion to work with trauma survivors has developed throughout that time. When I’m not working with moms (or being a mom to my kids), I love to . . . you guessed it . . . read. My favorite place in the house is sitting by the fire with a cup of coffee and a good book in hand. My next favorite spot? Outside, running in the grass, playing barefoot with my family.

Ready to learn more about your options?

I know choosing to work with a fertility or birth coach is a very personal choice and connection is key. I offer a free consultation as a next step in seeing how best we can work together. I typically conduct the call virtually so we can see each other but you don’t have to leave your own home. You’ll have time to ask all your questions, learn a bit more about how I can help and maybe most importantly, see how we connect. I will be sure that you leave our call feeling like it was a productive use of your time and regardless of if we move forward working together, you will have most of your questions answered and new resources to explore.

The best way to connect with me for fertility awareness coaching or birth services is to schedule your video call here. If you would prefer to email me, fill out the form below and I will be in touch within the next few business days. Don’t worry, I will not add your email address to an email list or anything else without your permission!
